Daniel_Bytcanek

Daniel Bytčánek is the director of the Slovak Debt and Liquidity Management Agency (ARDAL) since 1st February 2003.

He has overall responsibility for government debt management, cash management and related activities such as investor relations and other strategic debt management issues. Daniel Bytčánek founded ARDAL in 2003.


Mr Bytčánek received his BA and MA in economics from the University of Economics, Bratislava. 
He started his banking career at Polnobanka Bratislava (UniCredito Italiano Group) as money market and fixed income dealer.  From 1995 until 1997, he was the chief dealer  responsible for Polnobanka's money market, foreign exchange and fixed income business.  In 1997, he became head of the treasury and investment banking section of Polnobanka.

 
Before he established ARDAL, he spent two years at Slovenska sporitelna (Erste Group Bank) working as head of the asset and liability management department.
