Director General

Peter Soltys is the Director General of Slovakia's Debt and Liquidity Management Agency (ARDAL) since November 2025. With over 20 years of experience in Treasury and Finance, he specializes in debt management and capital markets. 

Since joining ARDAL in 2005, he has played a key role in managing Slovakia's debt portfolio, contributing significantly to the nation's financial stability and optimizing its funding and liquidity. From 2016, he served as Head of the Debt Management Department at ARDAL.

Before his time at ARDAL, Peter gained valuable experience with both domestic and international financial institutions, focusing on funding and credit risk. He has also extended his knowledge as an external consultant for various debt management projects with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the International Development Group (IDG) under USAID.

Peter Soltys holds a Master's degree from the University of Economics in Bratislava, and is a CFA Charterholder.
